Headshots of employees in companies are very often used for websites of businesses to bookmarks ABOUT THE COMPANY / KNOW US / OUR TEAM / WHO WE ARE. Such photos are perfect as profile photos in social media: for Facebook, Instagram, Goldenline, Linkedin and also fulfill their visual identification task on websites promoting actors, models, authors and other media and culture people. Headshots are also used in internal communication in companies or hang in the corporate lobby proudly presenting the team committed to the company’s success. The photos are taken for commercial purposes as well as for less formal projects. In addition to portrait photos, I also took interior photos and situational photos from the company’s life. The photos from the business session are used by FemiCentrum owners on the clinic’s website, on social media for campaigns and in their daily updates on FemiCentrum. They use them when creating leaflets, advertising brochures as well as a printed offer with a price list. The photos I took for FemiCentrum can be found on the KLINIKI website. I perform professional headshots in the studio, outdoors or during business and image sessions at the client’s. Then I bring with me a set with background and lighting, so as to properly illuminate and take professional photos. Before the session, I agree with the client about the preparation for the session regarding appropriate styling, make-up, hairstyle and jewelry. Before the session, I also agree with the client on the purpose of taking photos. For me, it is important to know the industry in which the client operates. Thanks to this information, I am able to adjust the style of photos to the client’s requirements. For example, for the Chamber of Legal Advisers from Wałbrzych, for whom I made headshots during the business session, it was important for everyone to look positive and professional with a straight figure, without tilting their heads. During the session, I take a series of photos, changing the positioning of the body, facial expression, and the intensity of my gaze. Thanks to all these procedures, I am able to present a real person in a professional photography who feels good during the session, which contributes to good and appropriate expression in the photo. At every stage of the process of a professional photo shoot, my clients are informed by me about the activities and subsequent stages of the process.

Several politicians stood in front of my camera, who used photos from the session during their election campaign. The photos appeared on leaflets, on candidates’ websites and on billboards.

I can make portraits vertically or horizontally, depending on the need to use a given photo and customer requirements. It can be a classic toned portrait with a gentle and positive expression on the face, most often used by business people, politicians, and professionals. It can be a portrait that shows the charisma of the model, especially important for managers. For actors and models, I can make a series of portraits showing the different expression and appearance of a person to show the possibilities of a person’s acting. The photos can be color or black and white, depending on the client’s needs.

The client’s recommendation was that each person should look professional and positive. Before the session, I provided the client with the styling, hairstyle and makeup requirements for the ladies.
In headshot sessions, the graphic processing of photos consists in improving the exposure, contrast and colors, removing protruding hair, correcting protruding clothes, retouching clothes (e.g. white fluff, hair, spots), gently retouching the face without removing special marks and gently smoothing wrinkles, if necessary. At the client’s request, for an additional fee, it is possible to cut a person out of the background.
